Is anyone else finding it hard to remove their Kerry/Edwards sign from their front yard? I just can’t bring myself to do it. It seems that a lot of people feel the same way as I still see these signs everywhere. I feel pathetic and subversive at the same time. It’s an odd combination.

In furthering my effort to direct your attention away from this blog, I bring you Veiled Conceit, wherein a very talented writer ridicules the poor souls who inhabit the New York Times’ wedding and engagement announcements with rapier wit. The most recent entry, Adventures in Infidelity, does not disappoint.
This is what I saw when bringing up my news reader of choice (bloglines) today: Can I get a WTF? Who should I blame for this, the President or the media? It definitely seems that Reuters and AP had a different take on the same press conference.
